Kendrick

We had an absolute blast during Week 4 of Bible Club at Kendrick! This week brought in our highest attendance yet, with 18 energetic and joyful kids. Every station was full of life and fun!

At the Songs station, the kids danced and praised with full hearts. Favorites included Your Way's Better by Forrest Frank, the always-hilarious Goldfish Song, and many more high-energy worship songs that had everyone moving and smiling.

Crafts were a hit this week as the kids made adorable stuffed lions! It was so fun watching them get creative and proud of their little lions—it tied in perfectly with our Bible lesson.

Games were nonstop fun, featuring classics like Duck, Duck, Goose, What Time Is It, Mr. Bear?, and the crowd favorite water game Splish Splish Splash. There was never a dull moment!

During the Bible Story, the kids heard the powerful story of David and Goliath, learning how God is always with them and how He protects us no matter how big our problems may seem.

Week 4 was unforgettable, and we can’t wait for what’s next at Bible Club!

Johnson

Who are we?? Johnson! It was such a great week 4 here at Bible Club Johnson. Redeemer Church once again came to town and once again brought all the fun and all the hype. Whether it was all the fun crafts or playing football at games, every kid had a huge smile on his or her face and was having such a fun time. The kids got to have a water day on Friday, playing drip, drip, drop, and wet sponge hot potato. The team also spent each day teaching an overall theme song of the week to the kids, and on Friday, they all got to sing it together. Motions and all! A few team members also had the opportunity to share the gospel and what it meant to be saved with a couple of our older boys. So continue to pray that that seed will be watered throughout the rest of the summer. Thank you so much, Redeemer, for an incredible week of club!

Rosamond

Hey, Oh Rosamond Got Soul! What an amazing week at Rosamond! And it’s all thanks to God for sending Paris FBC for their tenth year!! As always, they brought the hype and energy. In Bible stories this week, they went over multiple stories about trusting God. In crafts, the kids loved making their little boats with stickers. In games, they loved playing games like duck, duck, goose, categories, and playing with the yoga ball. In songs, the kids loved doing the motions to the Power Shuffle as well as other songs! The team prevailed, continuing to stay hydrated and maintain energy with some tang in the mornings despite the heat and a heat advisory. Thank you so much again to Paris FBC for another amazing week 4! Who do we want??? JESUS! WHEN DO WE WANT HIM?? NOWWWW!!!! ~ Matt, Jae, Mabry, John

Villages

Praise the Lord! What a great week! Thanks to Faith Community Church, all the way from Wisconsin, we were able to open a brand-new Bible club in the Village Apartments. We had awesome attendance all week long, with more than 18 community kids on the very first day and a peak of 22 kids on Thursday. But we were able to minister to 47 different children throughout the week! Faith brought great energy, even though it was their second week. Each of them was intentional with every minute they had with the kids. Games were a blast, playing Mr. Fox, sharks and minnows, and the all-time favorite for the week. Drip, drip, drop! There was so much dancing going on at the songs that there was a perfect circle of dirt because we danced all the grass away. The kids had so much fun learning deep, deep waters and the fruits of the spirit. Everyone also loved the cool science experiments on the strength of paper, and the capillary demonstration with all of the colored waters. Of course, crafts were fun too! The Bible stories are amazing. It was awesome to see each of the kids listening intently to the stories. Each day, someone new taught the story, and they all did a great job. With this Bible club being new to the area, many of the kids had never heard the Bible stories, and they had a ton of good questions. I thank God for this week at the village with Faith community church, it truly was a blessing to be a part of it!

CITI

It’s fun to be at the C-I-T-I! Coming to party, we had South Walker Baptist in town! This week we moved bible club indoors and went to CITI Camp, and it was a blast! Our kids had the opportunity to learn about people in the Bible that they normally wouldn’t hear about. Their favorite was learning about Peter and how he walked on water with Jesus. To go with this story, they had a very cool craft that used a popsicle stick to move “Peter” around like he was walking on water. The kids had a great time making this, and some even told us the story while they played with it! Games Station was the biggest hit based on the laughs we heard! The kids learned how to work as a team in a game of “Over, Under” with a balloon. They enjoyed a few relay races, as well. It was truly an honor to work with this team this week, and I can’t wait to party with them next year!

Love, Gracie

Treadwell

T to the R to the E-A-D-W-E-L-L

What a wonderful first week we had at Treadwell. Thank you so much to Destin Methodist for taking time out of their summer to come all the way from Florida to spend time with our kids! We are so thankful to have had a team full of energy and God’s love to open up Treadwell for the first time this summer. Destin did a wonderful job telling our kids stories of Jesus walking on water, the fall of the Wall of Jericho, stories of King Hezekiah, and Daniel in the lion's den. The kids walked away with memory verses and themes of courage, wisdom, love, and God’s mercy each day. The kids at Treadwell had a blast playing duck, duck, goose, sharks & minnows, parachute, and freeze tag. The kids also loved making lion masks, trumpets, bookmarks for their Bibles, and coloring sheets depicting Jesus walking on water to rescue and comfort Peter. It was a beautiful sight to see the Bible club kids rejoicing in song and singing “Graves into Gardens”, “Glorious Day”, and “This Little Light of Mine”.

Thank you again, Destin Methodist, for a great week. I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for Treadwell the rest of the summer.

- Much love, Jess

Leahy’s

It was a fantastic week at Leahy-ville! South Walker Baptist combated the heat with fun water games that had the kids begging for “one more minute!” At the crafts station, the kids learned to put their trust in the Lord’s strength and made paper plate dumbbells that the older boys labeled trillions of pounds. Nothing is too heavy for the Lord! At songs, the Fruit of the Spirit song was remixed to include each of the kids’ favorite fruits, like apples and dragon fruit! Over at Bible Story, the children heard stories about Peter walking on the water and Job, which taught them to trust the Lord even in hard times. We welcomed a new girl to Bible club and smiled with familiar faces! We finished the week with a high of 13 kids! We are halfway through! So excited to see what God has in store for the rest of the summer!

Que Que

What a week at Que Que!!! It was the first time Que Que ran this summer, and we had a high of 33 kids one day. Waypoint church did a great job of sharing the love of God in each of the stations. Our kids learned about the fruits of the Spirit each day and were all rewarded with a bracelet and stickers on Friday if they could recite all the fruits. At crafts station, the kids got to make cross necklaces and paint rocks with all their favorite colors. In Bible story, we dove deep into the fruits of the Spirit, learning about different parts of the Bible and how they tie in with each fruit. YUM! At songs, the kids had a fruit cake walk and got a fruit-inspired eraser if their fruit was called on. Our kids went crazy over church clap and line dances. And at games, our older girls made up a creative game of flag football. We also had a snowball and dodgeball fight. Our kids got to be loved on extra hard. It was such a joy to see the kids smile and hear their laughter. It was a super fun, joy-filled week. Thank you, Waypoint, for a fantastic week!! - Marcus & Kendyl
